Great location for a fun get-away! This cozy little cabin has recently been remodeled by a retired carpenter, and is perfect for a quiet stay in the country. Walking distance to Sugarloaf Mountain hiking trails, and a short drive to Sugarloaf Winery and Comus Inn, the cabin is perfect for couples, or solo adventurers looking for fresh air, hunting, wine tasting, hiking, or other outdoor fun.
The cabin is equipped with everything you might need for a long or short term stay. Two single beds, shower, kitchenette, TV and Wifi.
Full access of cabin and little front porch.
Interaction with your host will be at check in.
As we are in the woods, animal sightings are common. Mostly deer, fox, rabbit, skunk and raccoons. We have, however, had a few black bear sightings this past summer.
Use caution when hiking outside Natural Resource areas in October and November, as this is deer hunting season. Most of the area is closed to hunting, but there are some spots that allow it. No hunting is allowed on Sunday.
Do not flush anything down the toilet except whatever leaves your body and toilet paper. No feminine products, condoms, paper towels etc. Cabin is on septic with an ejection pump and you will jam the pump, which could seriously diminish the enjoyment of your stay.
