The condo is close to great views, snorkeling, the beach, restaurants and dining, and nightlife. You’ll love it because of the light, the comfy beds, the sunrise and sunset views, and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The elevator makes the six story trip from the penthouse to the pool a breeze!
Puerto Escondido and its bays are definitely amongst Oaxaca's most charming hidden treasures, and there is no better view of them than from the balcony of our cliffside condo. Condos Leblon sits just beyond the lighthouse and looks back across town harbor onto Playa Zicatela and the beaches of Puerto, and our penthouse is at the very top of the building. Whether it's watching the afternoon storms roll in from the Pacific in the summer or the whales and dolphins playing in the bay over the winter, this is a view that never grows old!
The condo itself has two cozily appointed bedrooms, and a study/tv room for a total of 1300+ square feet (you won't feel cramped!) and the full conveniences of home - washer / dryer, dishwasher, ac, WiFi, large tv, air-conditioned bedrooms and study, stove, oven, microwave - and most importantly, an independent double pass water purification system for all water in the condo. The kitchen, dining room and living room are topped by a large, intricately woven palapa, bringing freshness to the rooms and adding an undeniable tropical feel. Our over ten years of learning about and living in Mexico have enabled us to take all the worry out of your vacation and we can't wait to share our penthouse condo with you.
The full condo is available for you to use - the two bedrooms, tv room/study, all three baths, the washer / dryer, kitchen, dining room, living room, WiFi, balconies, tub, serenity chairs, million dollar view of Zicatela beach - and we hope you make yourselves right at home!
We will be available to help and answer questions via email during your stay, but you will have the number for Dosi, our property manager, to help out with all the day to day questions that may come up during your vacation. Please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions about how things work or with any tips about getting the most out of your Puerto stay!
Many of the units within the building are owned and lived in by expats from around the world and they may be in residence or away during your stay.
If you do happen to meet them please say hello (they're all friendly!) but also please respect that they may not be able to help with all of your questions. Remember Dosi is available and we are happy to help via email!
¡Keep In Mind!
Whilst being one of the safest areas of town, we want to ensure every guest stay remains problem free, so we call your attention to the building rule that the entrance gates are to be closed and locked after 5 pm (when Javier leaves for the day) when you leave and return to the building.
No pets are allowed in our unit. Sorry. It’s a condo rule that we cannot alter. Other condo rules we cannot alter? No smoking in the building and no drug use in the building.
All parking spots are assigned; yours is the spot marked PH2 in the parking area in the front of the building. We apologize, but the building has no visitor parking, so your visitors should park along the street.
We understand that accidents and things break down happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of you having a great time. A good way to avoid a plumbing problem, as the building is on a septic system, is to place all paper and toilet items in the sanitary bins we’ve provided in the bathrooms. Otherwise our system might be overwhelmed, creating a problem for everyone.
If you’re coming to Puerto to party, you’ve picked a great town to do so. Unfortunately, just not at our place. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly or noisy behavior (especially during the quiet hours) will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.
The quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8 AM daily (yet another building rule). To be considerate to the other residents, we kindly ask you to keep things on the quieter-side after 9 pm. If you want to listen to music, please remember the other building occupants (with our palapa roof, noise travels exceptionally well) and enjoy via headphones or quietly inside. We’ll make sure to reciprocate the favor.
To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests), we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C when not in use or when leaving the unit. Mother Nature thanks you too.
Please don’t hang towels or other articles over the balconies or along the railings. That’s another one of those building rules (!) that could get us in trouble.
Access to the roof is locked for safety reasons. It’s not that interesting up there anyway.
And lastly, please do note and comply with pool rules posted by the pool. Wait, I meant to say, and lastly, do enjoy your stay!
