The Trout Church is located within eye sight of the famed Big Hole River, the East Pioneer Mountains, and a flyshop next to the thankfully not famous Melrose Bar. The house itself is an old log cabin that served as the church for the nearby ghost town Hecla. If you enjoy fishing, biking (road and Mt), hunting, hiking, backpacking, hot springing, sight seeing, or just reading a book along a beautiful western river you will love this place.
The Trout Church has bed space for 7 people, but often accommodates more than that in hunting season. It has a large table that allows for big family style meals, and a great yard to hang out in.
The entire house is available to the renters.
Since you could stay at the Trout Church for a week and float a different stretch of the big hole everyday I'm always happy to point you in the right direction for fishing or any activity. The high mountain lakes have some excellent fishing and so do some of the other close by rivers.
