This is 600 year cosy cottage with lots of original Tudor features, within a minute's walk from Canterbury city centre. I have two comfortable rooms, a twin and a double available on a bed and breakfast basis.
This is a charming cosy beamed cottage which dates back to 1450 and is quite typical of some of the more historic buildings in this magnificent medieval cathedral city. There is no need to have a car here as guests can walk easily to both rail stations. The cathedral, bustling city centre, theatre, Kings School, and the cricket ground are all a mere stroll away.
The two bedrooms available are beamed and share a bathroom. One bedroom is a double room, the other a twin bedded room. The bedrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable,. Tall guests may have to watch their heads, and the floors are not all as level as a modern house might be.
We live in the house and will be around to meet you on arrival, and will provide a continental breakfast for guests.
We hope guests will find a warm welcome into Forge Cottage adds to their Canterbury visit to make it unforgettable for all guests.

We will be around to welcome our guests and since we live in the house will be available.
We have a couple of short haired cats that are not allowed in bedrooms.
