A beautiful traditional Berber house set in a quiet and peaceful village between Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki. There is a garden filled with plants including banana trees, a grass area and large table and chairs to sit and eat.
Inside the courtyard are various sitting areas.
Great place to relax! ❤️
The studio has two rooms and an ensuite bathroom with shower. There is constant hot water and the shower is a good one.
The back room has a double bed with two bedside cabinets with a fan and a lamp. The front room has a Moroccan style sofa that can be used as a third bed.
There is a fridge freezer, chest of drawers and hooks with hangers for your clothes.
Small Moroccan table with drinking glasses and a bottle of mineral water.
Bath towels, hand towels and face towels are provided.
We are conveniently situated between Sidi Kaouki and Esssouira; which means that you can travel quiet easily to either. The house is sheltered away from the wind and humidity that Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki get. It is extremely tranquil and various places to sit and relax.
The house is guarded by a high wall. Once inside, guests have access to the shaded garden and outside eating area. The courtyard is sheltered away from wind and guests have access to all the areas outside. They also have full use of our kitchen if they would like to cook. There is another fridge freezer, electric appliances such as kettle, toaster, juicer, blender and nutribullet! A very well equipped kitchen.
There is a roof terrace, with great views of the neighboring villages.
We live on the property and are around should guests need us for anything. We also appreciate if guests want to be left alone, and here it is possible.
Baha makes an amazing traditional Berber breakfast. If you would like dinner, please ask.
We can help you with any questions regarding travel around Morocco too. We specialize in arranging tours to Merzouga, where Baha's family are from.
A traditional Berber breakfast with eggs is serves every morning.
We also clean the bathroom, bedroom and make the beds everyday.
Our house is a quiet environment, we would like our guests to respect our home and enjoy it as much as we do. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs that get on...most days! This is their home too.
We moved to Sidi Kaouki in November, 2015 and absolutely love living here. I, Elen, am from Wales originally, but lived most of my adult life in Ibiza, Spain. Baha is from Merzouga. We are a Welsh/Berber couple! We speak Spanish together, but other languages in our house are English, Arabic, Welsh, Berber and French.
