CROYDE KINGFISHER OVERVIEW
This attractive chalet style bungalow is situated in the peaceful location of Leadengate Close, a prime West Croyde location just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village with its vibrant pubs and restaurants, surf and beach shops. A very short stroll to the golden sandy beach, great for families and a favourite with surfers.
Set in its own enclosed lawned garden, the chalet has off-road parking for two cars and provides an ideal base for anyone wanting to take advantage of the golden sands of blue flag accredited Croyde beach. Other beaches are only a short scenic drive away.
Entry to KINGFISHER is through the double glazed front door that is located at the side of the chalet. The light and welcoming cream painted entrance hall has functional wood-effect laminate flooring that continues into the main living area and kitchen. There is plenty of hanging space for coats. Passing through a semi-glazed door, you enter the double aspect, open plan, living/kitchen area and are immediately greeted by a large beige leather corner sofa that invites relaxation. Light floods into this room via the double glazed doors that provide access to the patio area at the front. Pale blue curtains on metal window poles harmonise well with the floor and cream walls to create a tranquil, light and cosy space.
A flat screen TV, Sky Basic Package, VHS and DVD players have been provided for guests entertainment. Wi-fi is available.
The kitchen area boasts a solid wood work surface set atop white painted ‘tongue and groove’ style kitchen units, the overall feel of the room is enhanced by the use of pastel wall tiles in shades of terracotta and peach as well as halogen lights. In addition, there is a circular stainless steel sink with polished chrome mixer tap. The wall units hold an ample supply of glassware, crockery and cooking utensils. Appliances include a tall larder fridge/freezer, single oven/grill set below a built in 4 ring ceramic hob, stainless steel extractor hood, microwave oven, 2-slice toaster, kettle, fully integrated dishwasher and a washing machine. A folding gate-leg table and four chairs (that can be folded and stowed away when not required) provides dining space.
There are 3 bedrooms all enjoying views out to the rear of the chalet.
Bedroom 1; is double aspect and the larger of the two double rooms, it is accessed directly from the lounge. The double bed is shouldered by bedside tables that each support a table lamp. There is a wardrobe that provides hanging and drawer space
Bedroom 2; the second double is reached from the entrance hall and contains a black metal framed bed, bedside tables, a large wall mounted dressing mirror and a wardrobe that provides hanging space.
Bedroom 3; perfect for the children, contains bunk beds plus a mattress under, 5 drawer chest of drawers, a wardrobe plus a bedside table with lamp.
The family bathroom comprises a 2 piece suite, a bath with power shower over, plus a pedestal wash basin with a useful mirror above. There are white marble effect tiled walls that are enhanced with a dark pebble dado rail. There is also a chrome heated towel rail.
Adjacent to the front door there is a separate WC with hand basin.
KINGFISHER is surrounded by a fully enclosed lawned garden that enjoys day long sunshine.
There is a garden bench, garden furniture and a rotary clothes line.
