The open-plan kitchen/diner/living room is light, airy and has two sets of double glazed patio doors that lead out onto a decked balcony. The circular patio table seats 6 and is the perfect vantage point to admire the vista of rolling hills that surround Croyde, the sand dunes of Croyde beach. There is a wooden dining table adjacent to the kitchen, this provides a good separation of the kitchen and lounge areas. The lounge area is fully carpeted and boasts 2 cream fabric sofas that enable 6 to relax in comfort. Your eye is drawn to the feature fireplace and mantelpiece. A large bookcase is home to a selection of audio tapes, books (including local guides and information), VHS videos, magazines and a comprehensive visitor welcome pack that “is designed to help guests enjoy the Croyde experience”. The entertainment hardware includes a flat screen TV, DVD & VHS players, Sky free view and a mini stereo system (CD, radio and audio tape). WiFi internet access is available.
Limed oak units with a light laminate work surface help to increase the feeling of space in this open plan room. The layout has been well thought out, with appliances comprising a dishwasher, washing machine, fully integrated fridge/freezer, single oven built into a tall housing unit with microwave located above, 4 ring ceramic hob set into the work surface, 2 slice toaster, kettle and liquidiser. There is a plentiful supply of glassware, coordinating crockery and cooking utensils.
Bedroom 1 is a twin bedded room with 3 drawer bed side cabinet between topped with a lamp. Ideal for children but also two adults decorated in a vibrant lilac. The wardrobe provides hanging space and also hides a huge selection of toys and games, a 4 drawer chest provides additional storage.
Bedroom 2 on the opposite side of the hallway is a twin room with two wooden framed beds separated if required by a 3 drawer bedside cabinet topped with a lamp. The beds can be put together if required.This bright room, enjoys a view of the green hills to the front. There is an alcove providing hanging space plus an additional 3 drawer chest.
Bedroom 3 is the double aspect master en-suite, overlooking Moor Lane. As well as the good sized double bed there is an abundance of furniture, including 2 bedside tables each with a lamp, wardrobe, low cupboard, 4 drawer chest. However, the room is still spacious enough to accommodate 2 travel cots.
The family bathroom, with deep raspberry walls complementing the cream tiles and floral dado rail, is a good sized room. The chrome power shower is separate from the bath in its own cubicle. The white suite also includes a pedestal wash basin with polished chrome fitments, low level WC and a good sized bath, perfect for relaxing in aromatic bubbles.

There is dedicated parking for two cars on a level tarmac driveway. CROYDE 3 LORNA DOONE is set in its own grounds, surrounded on two sides by a large flat lawn, the size of two tennis courts, perfect for enjoying the late afternoon sun. The grounds are a great space, available to all guests to meet and socialise, dine al-fresco or simply just relax and unwind.
