The open floor plan makes it convenient to socialize and enjoy family and friends, while the separate loft above and bedrooms below give others a place to rest and relax for extended quiet time. Best of all is the location; Close to the lifts and lakes. The Tavern is an ideal place to walk to for a cocktail and quick bite. The bowling alley and movie theatre are nearby and The Stove is a great breakfast joint if you need to fuel up before hitting any High Sierra activity. You will have full access to the townhome and pool/spa/sauna area. Please return spa keys.
Should you have a question re: the townhome, please feel free to contact me. We pride ourselves in our timeliness and quick response to our guests. There is also an on-site manager at all times, should you need additional assistance.
In the winter months we strongly advise that you check road and weather conditions and plan accordingly.
Please leave your ski boots in the ski locker provided. Please do not store your skis in the unit. There are no pets or smoking allowed. We appreciate leaving your shoes at the bottom of the stairs, as the wet/mud/snow can take a licking on the new carpet.
Please read house rules prior to booking.
-Must be 25+ years old to rent. No smoking/no pets allowed of any kind. 8 person occupancy max. Including children.
-There is a 30 day cancellation policy required during high season, December 15 - January 8th. If the cancellation is within 29 days of booking a refund will not be provided during this period.
-Futon bedding is in downstairs bedroom closet in sealed bag. For hygiene reasons DO NOT SLEEP on futon without sheets.
-All dishes need to be done prior to departure and all trash needs to be taken out when you leave.
-Please shut off all heaters, close fireplace door (do not put water in it), insure windows and blinds are closed. There is a binder on table for "how to" operate everything in town home.
-There is a strict max occupancy of 8 people. The on-site manager may verify head count if it is suspected that the occupancy rate has been exceeded. If it is found that more than 8 people are staying in the unit, you may be asked to leave immediately and will also forfeit your deposit and payment of the unit.
-AirBnB does not have a way to process TOT tax. Please note that all Mono Lake vacation rentals charge a mandatory 14% transient occupancy tax (TOT). We will request this from you after we have confirmed your booking. You will be responsible for this tax and payment prior to your stay. It is 100% refundable if you cancel 2 weeks prior to your stay. If it is not paid within two weeks of your arrival your reservation will be cancelled.
There is a $50 lost key fee if spa key is lost or missing .
There are stairs and a loft in the unit. It is your responsibility to oversee the safety of your children and use the town home's features and furnishings for its intended use.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00PM - 9:00AM.
We are a family of outdoor enthusiasts. My dad was part of the first Mammoth ski patrol team when it first opened and he passed on the love of this mountain to me. I've been skiing here since suicide bindings were fashionable and snowboarding and not yet been born. My husband proposed to me at the top of chair three and flash forward, my teens now ski faster than me. We enjoy our time near the seaside in CA and love our time in Mammoth Lakes, summer or winter.
