Charming ensuite double bedroom in La Quincaillerie – a lovely old building sympathically restored with a cosy family atmosphere. La Quincaillerie has 7 double/twin bedrooms each with a good sized ensuite shower or bathroom. On the ground floor, there is a small restaurant/tearoom where breakfast is also served (8€ per person - not included). La Quincaillerie is situated close to Audierne's town centre and pretty port with its many small shops, cafés, water spors and long sandy beaches.
Originally built in the early 1900s, the building became an ironmongers in the 1930s, and we have kept its old name of La Quincaillerie. There are 7 attractive and cosy ensuite bedrooms decorated with style. This bedroom (Chambre 5) can sleep 2 people in a double bed (140x200). The ensuite shower is well sized and comfortable.
Guests have access to most of the building. On the first floor, there is a large sitting room with sofas, armchairs, a table for writing postcards, and tea/coffee making facilities. There is free unlimited WiFi available to all guests as well as games and books - perfect for relaxing after a good day out. Guests can also take advantage of our small restaurant/tearoom open from 8h-19h (evening meals can also be arranged). Behind the house, there is a peaceful courtyard with places to relax and a historic 'lavoir' water feature. Access to the rooms is via a footbridge from the street behind La Quincaillerie. The footbridge is also wheelchair accessible. There is also secure place to store and park bikes and motobikes.
