Quiet room in a cosy old building right in the heart of Wilhelmsburg, a multiculti quarter of Hamburg within the borough of Hamburg-Mitte. Wilhelmsburg is situated on the homonymous island between the Northern and Southern branches of the Elbe river.
In close proximity to the flat you will find small restaurants, cafés and supermarkets.
Get to the city centre to explore beautiful Hamburg within 30 minutes by bus and train, bike or even by ferry (only on weekdays).
The room is located in a refurbished flat of an old building. High ceilings, stucco and a cosy boarded floor come along with a modern kitchen and a renovated bathroom.
The bedroom, kitchen with balcony and bathroom are facing the backyard in the south, which means these rooms are light and quiet.
The puristic bedroom has a simple 1,40x2m mattress on the floor (see pictures). Nevertheless, it's a comfy place to sleep! :)
In the kitchen you will find a wide choice of tea and you are very welcome to have a cuppa. I also own a french press for the coffee drinkers among you, but usually I don't have coffee at home so you will have to bring your own.
Besides your bedroom you have access to the bathroom and the kitchen with balcony.
During your stay I will sleep in the living room.
I am working full-time and am usually quite busy in my leisure time so we probably won't see each other very often.
However, please don't hesitate to call or text me at any time if you have questions. I'm very happy to help you and give you recommendations regarding restaurants, cafés, museums, bars or clubs in Hamburg.
- Check-in: On weekdays I am working until 6pm, so the check-in is usually only possible after 6pm. On weekends I'm more flexible in case you're arriving earlier.
- Check-out: On weekdays you will have to check out before 7pm and on weekends before 12pm (noon).
- Parking facilities: There are free parking spaces in front of the house.
- Lift: There is no lift in the building. The flat is on the 2nd floor.
- Heating: The flat has night storage heating.
My name is Johanna, I am 27 years old and living in Hamburg.
At the moment I'm working full-time in an advertising agency but I'm going to start studying art history and English/American literature in Oct 2017.
In my free time, I like to go out with friends, draw or read. I also enjoy going to art exhibitions, museums or (rock) concerts.
My first language is German, but I also speak English fluently.
