Villa with three ensuite bedrooms four minutes walking distance from Indian Ocean.
Anna's house is spacious and well situated for those who want quiet and to be close to the sea. We were able to hire one of her friends to drive us around when we needed to go shopping, or visit Stone Town. The washing machine didn't work well (evidently due to electrical problems) but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed in March 2017 at the villa. It's a very nice place, big apartment with three separate bedrooms and double beds and a wonderful beach at 4 minutes walking distance. The place was clean but we still had to improve. Pick up from the airport was organized together with the concierge Mr. Bonge who speaks a little English only(URL HIDDEN)Pick up from the airport: we paid 50 USD at arrival but on departure we managed for a taxi for 30 USD. That was also the tariff to Stonetown for visits and return (2 ways)(URL HIDDEN)We went quite often to Jambiani for kite surfing (with Uhuru, recommendable) for 15.000 Shillings one way. Bonge has phone numbers of taxi drivers(URL HIDDEN)You may pay larger amounts in USD. There is a shop at Page known to the taxi drivers where one can exchange Euros and USD. ATMs are in Stonetown (e.g. Bank of Africa)(URL HIDDEN)Since this is a villa/apartment you may wish to bring along some kitchen items for the first days like coffee, salt, matches (for the gas oven) ,dishes sponge, barbecue lighter(URL HIDDEN)Wifi and micro wave didn't work(URL HIDDEN)At Abbas mini market in Page you'll get fresh bread(URL HIDDEN)We got good food at the following restaurants: Twisted Palms on the beach next to Evergreen, Ocean restaurant at Page and Pizzeria at the Italian village in Jambiani(URL HIDDEN)For drinking water we bought a rechargeable bottle for 25.000 Shillings which we requested Bonge to refill for 5.000 Shillings.
The house is great and very spacious, very clean and close to the Beach. Anna was available for further information which was great! There was no Wifi available during the stay (no more data in the plan) and keep in mind that the electricity is to be paid separately. We had a great time in Bwejuu
