Set in the hills of Encantada, this unique self contained cabin site is ideal for those who love being surrounded my nature and want to unwind. The solar powered site comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. There is 1 master cabin (double bed, floor mattress available, toilet and sink), 2 private cabins (one with double bed, 1 with sofa bed), a bathroom/kitchen cabin, a BBQ area, and fire pit. There is off street parking for 3 cars. All cabins come with fans and mosquito nets.
The site was developed with the idea of creating a space to enjoy the natural surroundings with minimum impact. The water comes from the surrounding hills, the power and hot water, from the sun. Each cabin offers a comfortable, cozy sleep and a real feeling of being part of the surrounding forest. The private decks are perfect for relaxing during the day, 'The Tower' ideal for BBQs and socialising.
The area available to our guests is clearly fenced. The water tower affords wonderful views and is climbed at your own risk. The pond is a wonderful feature but cannot be swam in.
The stream to the west of the cabins can be traversed and again, the accompanying limits of the forest on the other side is clearly fenced and should be respected.
John lives in Garopaba and is happy to answer any questions you may have about the site and the area in general. He will be available in the first 24 hours to give a half hour brief on how the site runs. After that, any problems are attempted to be resolved within 24 hours.
The idea is that guests feel a part of nature and the surrounding forest. The forest is shared with many creatures that many require special attention. Be sure to pack light long sleeve shirts and long trousers for the evenings. Some citronella candles are provided and each cabin has a mosquito net and fan but bug lotion is also recommended. Make sure to check shoes left outside before putting your foot in them.
