Guests of the View at Agate Beach are welcome to the downstairs rooms in our beautiful beachfront home. The rooms includes 1 & 1/2 private baths, 2 bedrooms, & a common area with double futon & twin hide-a-bed. The bedrooms overlook Sandi's flower garden, & in less that a minute's walk your toes are in the sand where you will find tide pools with marine life & enjoy the sea breeze. You might even see a whale! We have spectacular sunsets & exciting Winter storms. Come see us soon!
Downstairs there are two private bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, beautifully decorated with ocean decor & luxurious linens. Sitting room includes double futon, twin hide-a-bed, T.V., microwave, coffee maker, & small refrigerator. We reserve the entire downstairs for one party.
Just outside your bedroom windows, you will find Sandi's garden & a hose-off area to clean up after your day at the beach, which is steps away. Ample parking is provided.
Breakfast is served upstairs where you will have a spectacular ocean view. Wake up to the delightful aroma of a breakfast that begins with Sandi's hot Rosy Citrus drink. Breakfast might be a shrimp enchilada, a smoked salmon quiche, or delicious overnight waffles with homemade blackberry syrup. Other favorites include cranberry scones, Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast Bake or homemade granola.
When you are not busy exploring the beach, golfing at Bandon Dunes Resort (6 miles) or shopping in "Old Town" Bandon (11 miles) you are welcome to come upstairs and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean & beach.
At any time of day, guests are welcome upstairs to swap stories & enjoy the view through our picture windows. We are of course available to share information about the area with you & point out our local favorites. We keep a tide table & would be happy to explain the best times to visit the tide pools or hunt for a sand dollar.
We recommend Face Rock Creamery where you can taste cheese and eat ice cream. Craig enjoys sampling the candy at Cranberry Sweets & Sandi's favorite place is the "sipping caramel" at Coastal Mist. After strolling through town, stop by the boat dock to watch the seals, birds & boats. You can even fish for crabs; crab pots are available to rent at local shops. A bit further away, Coos Bay (23 miles) offers excellent antique shops & good restaurants. Charleston (9 miles) , home of the fishing fleet, is a very unique seaport & fishing village to explore. Beautiful Shore Acres Park is 30 minutes from us. Day trip options are many including numerous lighthouses, the Redwoods, & the Oregon Caves. As you can see there are wonderful attractions here on the southern Oregon Coast to keep you busy during the day.

Native to Oregon, we were high school sweethearts & for 54 years have enjoyed living life together. We've been blessed with a beautiful oceanfront home that we love to share with family, friends, & guests who just may become new friends. In our spare time, we enjoy catching salmon on the Coquille Rive & crabbing in the local bay. We also enjoy gardening, woodworking, cooking, and walking on the beach with our dog & cat. Much of our time is spent serving in our local church, which we find to be a huge blessing. Within our extended family, Craig is known to tell a good tale, & everyone always looks forward to Sandi's delectable meals. She especially likes using fresh local ingredients like blueberries & salmon.
