We are close to The Heart of the National Forest and a few minutes' walk from the town centre with a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
It's great for couples and business travellers alike (and there is a sofa bed for an extra guest if required - small charge).
It's a mile from the A42 and just 20 minutes from Tamworth or East Midlands Parkway railway stations and 15 minutes from East Midlands Airport.
Load of leisure facilities, walks, cycle rides and historic buildings nearby.
The Old Coach House was built in 1860 for a traveling draper who lived in our main house next door. We have lovingly converted it to create a home from home that is great for business travellers and couples taking a break or visiting the area (there is a sofa bed downstairs suitable for an extra guest if required).
The layout makes it unsuitable for pre-school children and older children might find it a bit "boring!" for more than a night or two!
The Old Coach House is a self-contained detached property.
There is an attractive patio for guests' use and there is off-road parking for one vehicle.
We live just next door so will be on hand to help make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. However, your privacy will always be respected.
We will stock the 'fridge with a welcome pack fresh breakfast goodies at the commencement of your stay and can provide groceries and other supplies by arrangement if you'd rather not do your own shopping (although there is a 24-hr Tesco on the edge of town)!
If you want the sofa bed making up (whether you are a party of more than 2 or just two guests that prefer separate beds), please book in as 3 guests then we'll know! (There is a small extra charge to cover our servicing costs for this.) Thanks.
