Come stay in our 3 bedroom urban farmhouse in the heart of East Williamsburg!! The Morgan Avenue area of Williamsburg/Bushwick is a hotbed of artists, musicians, and other young Brooklynites. It's lined with hip bars, gourmet restaurants, health food stores, art galleries, and converted factory apartment buildings- including ours!
One of several spaces in the building restored by designer James Troisi. Living room alone is 600 sq ft. filled with handmade furniture, a full wall of windows overlooking the backyard, and amazing hand picked! There's a one of a kind Murphy Bed (for groups of 3 or more only) that disappears a into a gorgeous, also hand built cabinet with extra storage of your private room is not enough. There are beautiful belt driven fans and original hardwood painted floors!
You will be sleeping in a completely private, cozy designer bedroom with a full size mattress and tons of storage. When you're not in your room, you can relax in our ginormous living room/dining room area equipped with a 50 inch T.V. for lazy days, or just chill out for an overall peaceful experience :)
Guests have access to the their bedroom, our huge fully equipes living room with tons of entertainment, bathroom, full kitchen, backyard and laundry room. Basically the entire apartment, minus our personal bedrooms.
Whenever guests want to interact or need anything from us one of us will be here! We'd love to show people around our neighborhood!
There is an extremely personable French bulldog who also lives in this apartment. He's extremely funny to be around and loves the spotlight. He won't get into your things and He has his own room, so don't worry about him interfering at all (unless you want him there, which we find most people do!) With that said, please love dogs!
Guests should behave as if this is their own space. No unannounced parties or gatherings, but we are a pretty laid back duo!
A little about us:
Priscilla- where do I start? (Also im writing this about myself). Warm hearted Brazilian who's been in Brooklyn longer than she can remember. Used to be in the corporate world and gave that all up for happiness. Currently bartending at a show venue in the west village until she decides what she wants to be when she grows up :) Loves anyone laid back who can make her laugh and loves to cook (and eat, so if you love to cook that's a bonus!)
Jason: He is a jack of all trades. Extremely talented Italian American fashion designer, landscape designer, and overall creative, hilarious human being. Originally from Connecticut. Loves to inform and has about a million suggestions to every one of your questions. SUPER fun to be around
Otis: we like to call him the loft pup. I'm pretty sure he thinks the entire building is his home because he's so friendly he runs up to anyone and everyone's apartment. People really love him...he's just a ray of freakin sunshine.
We are all really close and everyone in the building is pretty amazing. Jason and I are big pretty social so we are more than happy to suggest things to do in the neighborhood! We don't party hard in the apartment but there's definitely parties in the building if you're feeling up to it and social. Everyone's very welcoming!
