Your hosts, Trish and Peter, live in Temple Barn next door. We are available to help in any way. Please just knock on the kitchen door or use one of the contact telephone numbers listed on the kitchen notice board. To help you plan what to do and where to go a comprehensive amount of leaflets and nearby walk routes can be found in a rack on the wall. If its raining, or just a stay in time, a multi-game board box is left for your pleasure!
If your stay includes a Sunday please let Peter know if you would like a complimentary Sunday newspaper.
Trish and I came to Broadwell 30 years, ago prior to my retirement from the Royal Air Force in 1994. Our home, a stone barn barn built in 1795, has been converted to a dwelling largely by ourselves over some 17 years! We have been successfully letting our adjacent Temple Mews for six years and our 300 visitors have come from many parts of the UK and from overseas; all have left glowing reports in our visitors book. Indeed we have quite a few guests who come to us year on year. We decided to try Airbnb for our advertising in December 2016.
We are well established in our village. I do some volunteer work like organising the cutting of the village green and general repairs and I keep a couple of bee hives. I regularly clean the beer pipes for the Queen's pub in Stow-on-the-Wold and I am a regular at our village pub, The Fox. We both like gardening, although I seem to do all the heavy work, and Trish makes the garden come to life. She also likes shopping!!
