Located in Wilderness East on Lake road which runs along 'Island Lake' overlooking the Garden Route National Park. The property is north facing and gets plenty of sunshine. The apartment is well appointed and offers secure accommodation and is ideal for families. There are two decks for relaxing on and an outdoor Braii area with table and chairs. It's close to the beach, SanParks hiking and walking trails, and is great for cyclists, and twitchers. Wilderness Village is a five minute drive away.
We can accommodate up to a maximum of five people. The apartment is on one level. Bedroom 1 is a double and bedroom 2 has 2 singles ( bunk beds), and a shower room en-suite. We can provide a single day bed in the lounge by arrangement for a 5th person if required. We are happy to accept infants although we do not provide cots and bedding, guests will need to provide their own equipment (we do not apply additional charges for infants) . There is a family bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, stove and microwave. The lounge area is bright and sunny and has a dining table and four chairs, a sofa and TV with DSTV. A door from the lounge opens onto a deck with far reaching views across the National Park and Island lake. We have plenty of space for parking and can accommodate your boat and trailer. The apartment has it's own independent security system.
Access to the apartment is via a path sloping up through the front garden to a dedicated outdoor Braii area, and then up a few steps to an outdoor deck and the entrance doors. Please note our property is not fenced and entirely open. Our guests are welcome to use the front garden lawned area but the back garden is reserved for the wild creatures and birds who inhabit our area. Guests can also use the swimming pool (at own risk) between the hours of 10:00 and 17:00. Although we must insist that children are supervised by an adult at all times.

We are in a high fire risk area and border the Garden Route National Park. Guests must not bring or set off fire works or chinese lanterns during their stay, even at New Years Eve!
