Window in bathroom didn't open. Hand towels were provided, but not bath towels. We met the host at his restaurant, but he was busy working and he had to wait 30minutes at the restaurant before he could walk Us over to he apartment. Host didn't respond to messages promptly., even though he explicitly said he responds to messages promptly. The place itself was fine and central.
Iakovos and his family are very nice and hospitable. The room is an example of "rooms to rent" that have been around in touristic places in Greece for ages and now are also promoted via Airbnb. The room is typical of low-mid range priced room to let in a Greek island. It is basic, clean and in a convenient location. However, simple things make a huge difference especially when one stays for a couple of days in the room. Having the fridge functioning and with a bottle of water inside, which only costs 0.30€, makes a difference when you arrive in the afternoon with 30 degrees outside and no shop nearby. Also having soap in the toilet. The TV and the fan in the roof were not functioning - the AC did though.
