Across from a cranberry bog, guarded by a dragon, this is the larger of two comfortable rooms (two listings) available for you in our home. This room overlooks the garden and small pond. It has a queen bed, comfy chair and ottoman and a bright, cheery feeling (it gets the morning sun).
We are a "go-to" gathering place for friends and family: cozy, quirky and cat friendly. The two bedrooms (separate listings) are private, well appointed (each has a fan in warm weather--no a/c) and share a full bath.
Our house is a getaway--from TV, Internet, city noise. Parking is off the street. Front door keys may be left in the Shaker wall hutch when you depart.
My husband and I will respect your privacy, but should you wish to chat over tea or coffee and cookies, we and our cats are very happy to join you. We are easy going people who enjoy making other people feel comfortable and cared for.
Lisa bakes everything from scratch: muffins, cookies, scones, pies and breads. Allan makes wonderful coffee, fruit salad (and matzoh brei on request).
People looking for a quiet, pleasant place to unwind will enjoy our home. The cats are indoor, but very curious about the outside world. Just mind that they don't sneak past you as you come and go. Thank you!
Please give us 48 hours notice with inquiries. Thanks.
Lisa is from Dorchester, MA and is a member of Actors' Equity. She moved to Scituate when she married Allan Greenberg, a retired college professor/administrator. She loves to cook, bake and garden. Allan plays tennis, he bikes, collects and repairs mechanical clocks, is a very active member of Audubon and treats Tai Qi as a religion. His cooking leaves Lisa's in the dust.
