Our hosts were great and the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The location was close to public transportation as noted. However, on multiple occasions we were woken up by the neighbors arguing and screaming racist/homophobic obscenities. This occurred on two separate nights for hours on end.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Sajin's. It is a nice place, very clean and simple. We loved the smart controls for lights and fans. We didn't get to meet Aakruti, but Sajin was very nice and accommodating. We had a late check in which was around 2am. Sajin stayed up to let us in and to greet us properly, which we really appreciated. They stocked the bedroom with watet and some snacks. The bathroom had basic toiletries, hairdryer and a first aid bag The place is pretty close to downtown. I don't think it's walkable, but uber/lyft prices were reasonable. I recommend asking Sajin about how to set shower temprature ahead of time. They have a smart water heater which was a little tricky. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Sajin and Aakruti were very hospitable and we really enjoyed staying at their Airbnb. We didn't spend much time there besides sleeping and showering, but anytime we ran into the two of them, they were very nice and helpful. The train, or the T, is about a 10 minute or less walk away and that area is a hub for the bus routes. However, there is also a bus stop not too far from the home and they have 1 parking pass for the road for guest to use. They had a nice set up in the bedroom and made the most of the space. There were even a few goodies (bottles of water, granola bars, & small boxes of cereal) in the bedroom for us to enjoy while visiting. They opened up their fridge and coffee maker to us as well while we were there. The bathroom did have extra supplies in the event you forgot something, including new travel toothpaste, small first aid kit, shampoo/conditioner and a hair dryer - which is nice to know if you're flying as it takes up space and is heavy. We found a restaurant that we walked to for a great breakfast/brunch that was towards Cambridge called Neighborhood Restaurant and we'd definitely recommend it. During the summer on Saturday's they set up a farmers market, which was nice to walk through on the way to breakfast. If we head to Boston again, we will definitely check to see if Sajin and Aakurti's home is available again.
