Floorplan: On the first floor there is the entry hall, formal living room, dining room, sun room, very large kitchen, 2 king bedrooms (one with private bath) and a half bath. On the second floor there are two double bedrooms, one king bedroom with private bath, an additional full bath, a large family room, a den, an exercise room and a laundry room. On the third floor there is a space master suite with a large open bath (walk in double headed shower, separate jetted tub).
Guests are free to use the entire home--all three floors, from the entry hall to the laundry. There are two storage areas that are not for guest use.
This is my personal home and is only available when we are away. Our housekeeper will be available to help you with anything you need.
This home is not a good choice for small children-- there are cleaning products stored under sink, the stairs are not gate-able and there are numerous breakables on display.
All Airbnb guests in Louisville need to be aware that Airbnb does not, at this time, collect the Kentucky Sales Tax, the Louisville Metro Transient Tax or the Kentucky Transient Tax. 1.This home is NOT childproof and cannot be made childproof. Built in 1882, it may not meet all modern codes regarding child safety, for example stairs and landings. Small children must be closely supervised at all times.
2. Please note that Kentucky sales (6%) and KY/Louisville transient taxes (9.5%) are not collected by Airbnb and must be paid separately.
3. Our home is best suited to families or groups of couples (of all orientations). We are not an appropriate choice for bachelor groups on a party trip.
