Our home is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
Our beautiful stone home has a delightfully quaint country-cottage feel. It was the village pub until 1957 and it retains many of its orginal features. The new family bathroom, best enjoyed by candle-light, brings our house up to the modern-day luxery you would expect on your travels, whether you are staying for business, or a quiet weekend away.
You will have access to your private room, your own private family bathroom and the cosy snug with a woodburning stove. You have tea and coffee facilities in your room but there's no access to the kitchen.
Please be aware that we do have chickens and the cockerels have a tendency to crow! They usually do this at dawn, but being chickens their clock's aren't quite the same as ours and so they have a tendency to crow at other times as well. Rather like getting used to trains, we don't notice them any more, however if you're not used to them they may be a distraction.
It's all part of being in the country, (sometimes the sheep in the fields baa, and the cows at the farm opposite moo), but it's not everyone's cup of tea. My brother wears ear plugs when he stays!
