My adorable renovated '50s cottage has a twin bed for one person traveling alone! Located in hip East Nashville in the heart of the city, but in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. 5 minutes to cute shops and restaurants and 12 minutes to downtown!
Merely 1.6 miles (5 min) from fun 5 Points, Riverside Village and Eastland and Porter areas, and 5 miles (12 min) from downtown Nashville.
Your sunny guest room is furnished with my family heirloom antiques; my great-grandmother's Victorian vanity takes center stage next to the charming twin bed and other sweet decor. Enjoy your private deck looking out on my large yard, an oasis of peace and just perfect for your morning cup of coffee or evening sunset glass of wine or bourbon. The deck is also a great spot to read a book, write a song, or practice yoga!
You'll share a bathroom with me and are welcome to the many products I keep on hand for guests.
All rooms have overhead fans in the house, and there is central AC/Heat too.
My lovely cottage on just over a quarter acre of land has an enormous fenced in yard that your friendly dog is welcome to play in with my two pups, 3 year old Watson Oliver (boxer/lab) and 3 year old Cherry Bomb (pit/lab). Not a dog person? That's okay, just tell me! My dogs are lovebugs but we all understand not everyone wants to make a new doggy friend. Lucky for them they've got a big fenced yard to stay in, far from guests that prefer to keep their distance.
This home is not child proofed but you are welcome if traveling with a child who sleeps in a pack 'n' play or bassinet with you in your room. Please let me know in advance.
-French Press or tea coffee daily, if desired
-Your own snack basket
-Snuggle time w/ 2 pups! (Optional)
-Bath products including shampoo, conditioner and soaps
-All guests can take home an original mini water color painting as a souvenir of their stay.
-In winter (when trees are leafless) you can snag a bit of skyline view from the property
I typically book my guests for when I am physically on premise so you'll see me at least upon arrival. I work from home on the property in a separate building, so I'm frequently around if not actually in the main house. For guests who want privacy I'm happy to keep my distance, but welcome the opportunity to make new friends when the feeling is mutual.

I am a dog-friendly home! Please contact me ahead of time if you will be bringing any four legged pals with you so we can discuss their needs. Dog-friendly dogs only, please, that will enjoy making friends with my own pups.
Quiet hours are between Midnight and 7:30 am--please aim to be respectful with low noise during this time unless we've been hanging out together getting rowdy! Nashville is after all a fun town with many night owls, but I try to leave the party out on the town.
Please ask me before feeding my dogs, and allow me to introduce you to them with me present. After that you're welcome to keep company with them!
Please do not use items in the bathroom mirror cabinet or linen closet.
Please do not order movies per pay from my On Demand.
