A charming 1920s Craftsman-style home awaits you with a welcoming wrap-around porch, two fireplaces, period furniture, and modern comfort. Just off the scenic Highway 11 and nestled in the heart of Chesnee, SC, our home is within walking distance of several restaurants, the city park, and historic downtown shops. You'll find this a welcoming and peaceful small-town retreat.
This delightful space pays homage to the railroad, whose first track in 1908 led to the development of our one mile-square town. Antique Lionel trains, vintage train route maps, and other railway memorabilia will charm conductors of all ages.
The Train Room offers unique vintage charm with modern comforts, prepared especially with you in mind. This room features a full-sized antique bed, smart TV, desk space, and access to high-speed wireless Internet. A shared, full-bathroom lies just steps away. We offer bed and bath linens and a selection of toiletry items for your convenience. Forgot something? Please just ask, and we'll do our very best to accommodate your needs.
You're welcome to enjoy all of our public spaces, including the full use of the kitchen, family room, formal living room, and wide wrap-around porch. Please make yourself at home.
We thoroughly enjoy interacting with guests, but as experienced travelers ourselves, we understand the need for privacy, too. As such, we'll let you set the pace. Please feel free to join us for morning coffee around the kitchen table, or share with us your daily adventures before retiring each night. We'd love to hear how your visit is going.
We're more than happy to make recommendations for area attractions, shopping, and dining. If there's anything we can do to make your visit special, please let us know.
If you enjoy the Train Room, please share your experiences with others looking for a peaceful retreat. Also, stay tuned as we offer more spaces and overnight availability in the near future!
The Golden Rule guides our house rules. Please treat our home, and the things and people in it as you would have yourself be treated.
