This proved to be a great place to stay as it is in District 1 across the street from the Bitexco Financial Tower, two blocks from the Saigon River, and the Cho Ben Thanh market is a 7 minute walk down Ham Nghi Street. The front desk staff was really nice and very helpful. They arranged tours of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels (a must see), and a motor scooter tour of street food (a must do). Some of the hotel rooms have ceiling to floor windows that face Ham Nghi Street while other rooms have no windows at all (great for people who are sensitive to light and noise). All rooms have air conditioning whihc allow you to control the temperature and fan speed. The bed itself was very firm and exceptionally comfortable (IMHO) while the room was clean, efficient, modern, and really nice. The hotel served breakfast of typical Vietnamese meals (e.g., Bhan Mi, Pho, etc.) and it has a motor scooter that one can rent for 200,000 Vietnamese Dong per day (i.e., about USD$9.00). Bottom line is this is a great hotel at a very reasonable price.
