A stylish and peaceful house with an incredibly spacious bedroom, cozy living & dining room, open air bathroom + in the best area of Ubud... The perfect place for solo travellers or couples who want to relax and unwind but still be able to easily pop into town, take a yoga class or explore the local culture.
Master Bedroom: this fully enclosed, extra spacious room comes with a comfy king-sized bed + sofa combo and is surrounded by large sliding windows. Just open up and feel the breeze of the jungle! There is also an AC unit and a great desk for working.
The living room, kitchen and open air bathroom (to bathe under the stars) are downstairs. There are two sofas to spend your days lounging around + a 6-person dining table, and a full kitchen (large fridge+freezer, gas burners, a good blender, food processor, and a fully stocked spice rack).
We have the fastest possible WiFi at 8-10mbps (it's Bali after all). You will be able to work and browse with no problems.
- Daily cleaning and housekeeping
- Our wonderful family cook who can make lunch for you (she can buy the ingredients and you can just reimburse her) or bring fresh produce from the market.
Most restaurants will deliver. Within a 15-minute walk you can get to Intuitive Flow Yoga Studio and Yellow Flower Cafe, and it's just a 15-minute walk to the center of Ubud where you can find absolutely everything.
This area is just 5-minutes from a major supermarket and 5-10 minutes by scooter from the Monkey Forest and everything in central Ubud. The airport and the major beaches (Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua) are about an hour to an hour and a half away.
To get to the house you must walk (or ride a scooter) up a path that is about 100 meters from the street. The best place to relax and enjoy your stay in Ubud!
We will be traveling ourselves but our wonderful staff will attend to all of your needs.
It's our family home, so please treat it as your own. No parties—it's a house to relax, focus, and decompress.
Hi, I'm a musician recording an album on the beautiful island of Bali. I do a few sensible things to make money in the UK but essentially I live here and love it. A well seasoned traveller myself, I haven't found a better place to live but still travel a lot. I'd say I'm here 8 months of the year then splatter myself across the rest of SE Asia. With all this internet stuff i still yearn for the social interaction that random travel brings. The people you meet, the bonds you make and the stories you create. That's living :)
I've lived in some great places including Argentina, Australia, Spain, Sweden, Holland, Japan, New York... yep I'm aware New York isn't a country but it deserves to be mentioned in its own right.
I still have the lust for more and more adventures!!!!
