Hotel Nipton is close to Mojave National Preserve (across the road), wildlife, scenery, hiking. You’ll love Hotel Nipton because of the location, the peace and quiet, the wildlife, the comfortable beds, and it's conveniently located in the middle of nowhere. Hotel Nipton is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. Hotel Nipton is unique.
Hotel Nipton is an antique bed and breakfast, originally built in 1905. Nipton was founded on February 9, 1905. Nipton was bought and restored in 1984 by the Freeman family. Today, there is a bed and breakfast, cafe, trading post, and four eco-lodges, all surrounded by nature and tranquility. Nipton is in San Bernardino county, but only a quick hour away from Las Vegas, NV.
Guests may access the parlor, their room, the restrooms, entire surrounding area, the porch, Nipton Trading Post. and the Nipton pond.
In your room there is a bed, a dresser, a chair, a mirror, a window, and a lamp. In the parlor, there is a mini fridge, a water cooler, and a microwave - outside a picnic table and BBQs.
During the day, if you need anything you can go to the Nipton Trading Post and whomever is working that day can assist you. From 6:00 PM-8:00 AM, you may call the after hours contact. The phone number is posted in front of the Nipton Trading Post. We want you to have a most enjoyable stay so please let us know is something is not right.
Two people can sleep in each room. If you have a third person (a small child) but want to be in one room, the cost is $20 for a cot. The guest rooms have enough space to sleep and move around in but we encourage guests relax and hang out in the large parlor.
Be sure to visit Nana's Railroad Cafe for home cooking! Make reservations by going on Nana's Railroad Cafe Face book page and contacting the phone number listed.
Important to note: the train in the pictures runs through Nipton, during the day and night. We have provided each room and cabin with complimentary earplugs for this reason. You may also visit the Nipton Trading Post for more earplugs. Some guests love the train and how it feels just like it did when the train was established in 1904; some have said it is too noisy for them.
Please be quiet inside the hotel after 9PM as a courtesy to other guests.
