True ski-in/ski-out! The absolute closest complex (110 feet) to the Zephyr Express lift and just steps from the restaurants and shops in the Winter Park base village. You’ll love the place because of its location—on a quiet wing of the building but close to the hot tubs and fitness center, and a quick walk (no elevators needed) to/from the village and the lifts! With a KING bed and 2 twin sleeper sofas, this unit is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with 1-2 kids.
The Zephyr Mountain Lodge opened in 2000 and, unlike any other property found in Winter Park, it is truly ski-in/ski-out at only 110 feet from the Zephyr Express lift. This condo is a first floor unit with a balcony that faces the continental divide and overlooks Fraser Creek. It also is one of the only condos with 10-foot ceilings in the building, which makes it feel a little bigger than it is.
Our unit is in a quiet hallway on the main lobby level, which means you don't have to worry about taking the elevator or stairs to get to/from the ski locker or lifts each day (a huge time saver!). The full kitchen is stocked with the essentials, so you'll be set whether you simply want to make your first cup of coffee in pajamas or you plan to bring in groceries to cook your own meals. Four people can sleep very comfortably here, with a new KING memory foam mattress in the bedroom and two pull-out twin sleepers in the living room. Enjoy cozy seating in front of the fireplace and new flat screen TV, or relax on the balcony overlooking the Fraser River.
Like a hotel, this unit is furnished with linens and bathroom supplies, but like a condo it does not offer maid service.
* Did I mention that this condo is only 110 feet from the lift? This means that while everyone else is on a bus to get back to their condo in the Town of Winter Park or Fraser, you’ll already be enjoying a soak in the hot tub or an après ski beverage in front of your own fireplace. *
You'll have access to the entire condo plus a dedicated ski locker and heated underground parking exclusive to Zephyr Mountain Lodge guests ($14/day in the winter—paid directly to the resort).
When you rent this condo you will be renting directly from an owner and not a 3rd-party company. We will share our insights about the resort and the local area, including a multipage FAQ on where to ski, what to do off the mountain, restaurant recommendations, and more. Should you have questions or concerns, you'll be able to reach us before and throughout your stay.
Although this unit is new to us (Sept 2016), it was extremely well reviewed for the previous 10 years. Guests—many of whom return year after year—raved about its super convenient location in the building as well as its proximity to the lifts. It's been a fabulous perfect vacation home for us and we look forward to sharing our condo with guests year-round!
The locals know why Winter Park is Colorado's favorite. Once you visit Winter Park/Mary Jane, you will not ski or ride anywhere else. With 36 more inches of snow than Vail and 10 more FEET of snow that Keystone on average, why fight I-70 traffic? There’s nothing more painful than being stuck on I-70 Sunday afternoon for hours … never again. More snow means more powder days as well as better conditions overall. The terrain is naturally divided making the Winter Park area a great place to learn to ski/ride and progress into a solid skier or rider.
In addition to great family skiing on the Winter Park side, the Mary Jane side challenges even the most advanced skiers and riders: Voted #1 bumps in North America for years, Mary Jane offers great powder-stashed tree runs, cliffs and steeps that will get your adrenaline pumping. Just ask a local riding up the Super Gauge Express, Challenger or Iron Horse lifts for a few of his/her favorite lines. Without a doubt, the Jane has its cult followers!
Winter Park Resort is more than just skiing and snowboarding. During summer, fall and spring, it is a recreation wonderland with over 2500 acres of on-mountain trails. Did you know Winter Park is also called Mountain Bike Capital, USA? With an astounding 600 miles of trails, many of them lift-accessible, there's simply no limit to the fun you can have—and no end to the gorgeous Rocky Mountain vistas you'll see along the way! There are lakes and streams ideal for boating, kayaking, white-water rafting and fly fishing. The Pole Creek Golf Course is a picturesque, 18-hole championship course just fifteen miles away. We could go on and on ... but better yet, come and see Winter Park Resort for yourself!

Family. Friends. Food. Travel. These are the four great loves of my life. Whether it's 24 hours or two weeks, making the most of time together--and time away--is a big priority for me. I look forward to helping others plan great vacations, too!
