Cozy Pool Home in the Cove

Welcome to paradise! Make my cozy, yet roomy, home your own private retreat where you can relax and enjoy the amazing Palm Springs weather. Enjoy your time with family and/or friends by cooking or grilling by the pool. Spa-like amenities make you feel pampered and help you decompress.


The house has been recently renovated and updated, and is cozy, yet roomy, with a private backyard pool area. There is a propane BBQ grill for your use, as well as a misting system to keep you cool by the pool. The flat-screen TV in the living room has cable and is hooked up to a Roku box, so you can catch up on your Netflix shows.


Access to the whole house, backyard pool area and garage. Guests may park in the garage, on the driveway and on the street in front of the house. There is also a large driveway off the side of the house that could be used for off-street RV parking.


My helpers Bob and/or Gerry will meet you at the house to check you in and show you around. I am a flight attendant and will not be around much, but you can always reach one of us by messaging us here or by phone.


Prior to permitting occupancy, the City requires us to obtain a copy of your government issued ID, and they also require us to have you sign a formal acknowledgement that you and all of your guests are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the use and occupancy of vacation rental units.
Pool and Spa heating is available October through May. Additional fees apply: pool and spa heating is $50/day, with a 2-night minimum. Must be paid in cash upon arrival and is only available for the entirety of your stay. Pool will be heated to 86 degrees with this option. Monthly rentals pay actual gas costs.

Small, well-behaved, housebroken dogs may be welcome. Must be pre-approved.

There is a 2-night minimum stay on the weekends and some special event weekends have a 3- or 4-night minimum stay.

Please turn off the air conditioning or heating when leaving the house. Do not keep outside doors open while using air conditioning or heating.

Use of the indoor fireplace is not allowed.

Confetti, glitter (signs, decorations, or makeup), and feather boas are not allowed.

Do not rearrange any furniture during your stay without permission from the host.

No loud music or excessive noise allowed at any time. Violations of the following ordinance are subject to fines, and or eviction.

Cathedral City Noise Ordinance:
It is unlawful and it shall be a public nuisance for any person to operate or maintain any premises or property within the city in a manner that has resulted in repeated disruptive activities including, but not limited to, disturbances of the peace, public drunkenness, drinking in public, harassment of passersby, sale of stolen goods, public urination, theft, assaults, batteries, acts of vandalism, excessive littering, illegal parking, loud noises between the hours of 10pm and 7am, traffic violations, curfew violations, or police detentions and arrests.

Illegal downloading is not permitted and is subject to a minimum fine of $250.

Use of tanning oil in the pool is not allowed.

Pool use is at your own risk.

Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

No glass containers allowed near the pool.

If the number in your party changes, you must let us know immediately as it may affect the pricing. No more than 8 people allowed on the premises at any time.

Check-ins earlier than 3:00 p.m., or checkouts later than 12:00 noon may be possible based on availability. Early check-ins or late checkouts may be subject to additional rent.

New Short-term Vacation Rental (STVR) and Cathedral City Noise Ordinances Go into effect on May 12th, 2017. We are required to include these in our Airbnb listing.

New STVR rules consist of:

Occupancy limits are based on the number of bedrooms in the unit. A 3-bedroom house has a limit of 6 overnight guests, and 8 total daytime guests.

All trash must be placed in proper containers.

Unless on trash pick-up day, all trash containers must out of view from the street.

Renters shall park only in the garage, driveway, and/or carport.

STVR Rules must be posted in a conspicuous place within the rental unit.

STVR Rules must be part of the guest vacation rental agreement signed by the renter.

Renter and Rental Property Owner must abide by the City’s Noise Ordinance.

No renter may use a sound device (radios, sound systems, etc…) outside of the dwelling unit between 10pm and 7am.

Removal of fences between units to create a “compound” effect is prohibited.

STVR Complaints, Fines:

Neighbors may complain about a STVR violation by calling the Vacation Rental Hotline at ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)-hours a day, 7-days a week. (False complaints are subject to graduated fines of $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per incident).

Rental owners, the owner’s authorized agent or representative and/or the owner’s designated local contact person shall be available at all times during the vacation rental period and must respond to a complaint within 45 minutes or be subjected to all administrative, legal, and equitable remedies available to the city. Failure to respond to a complaint may include a $500 fine for each occurrence. A STVR permit may be suspended for repeat violations.

Noise Ordinance Changes:

Daytime and night hours are standardized throughout such that night hours are always 10pm to 7 am.

In most cases references to different sources of noise are eliminated in favor of decibel readings that apply regardless of the source of the noise.

Decibel levels are established as the indicator that a violation has occurred according to the following table:

Exterior noise shall be measured at the lot line of the lot where the noise or sounds are emanating. If the measurement location is on the boundary between two different noise zones, the lower noise level standard applicable to the noise zone shall apply. Interior noise shall be measured at least four feet from the wall, floor, or ceiling nearest to the noise source and with all windows, doors and other openings to the exterior closed.

Noises caused by motor vehicles or trains are exempt from these standards.

This section shall not apply to any noise emanating from a city operated or sponsored special event, or other events held on public property where the operator of the event has obtained all necessary permits and approvals for the event.

Penalties for Noise Violation:

• Issuance of an infraction citation;

• Issuance of a notice of public nuisance;

• Imposition of criminal and civil penalties; and

• Confiscation and impoundment as evidence, the components that are amplifying or transmitting the prohibited noise.

Any fines or penalties incurred by renters are to be paid for by the renters.

Violations of the occupancy limit will result in immediate eviction without refund.

Awesome house. Spent most our time by the pool relaxing. Not as deep as it seems. So don't dive in head first.

This was a wonderful place to stay at with all the amenities needed and described. Very conveniently located with a lot of space both inside and out. our check-in and check out experiences were extremely easy and helpful. Thank you!

Very nice house. Defiantly I am going to recommend this Tyler's place to my friends. Most important things for me are no bugs, no ants and other creatures exist in this house... very clean and safe... good location and nice neighborhood. Thanks to Tyler and Bob.

Tyler's house is exactly as depicted. It's spacious, has a nice pool, great space to entertain and is in proximity to stores. Tyler was incredibly prompt throughout the whole process. Definitely would recommend his place to friends and family.

Clean home equipped with most of the kitchenware you'd need over a few days. We had a great stay and enjoyed the pool and grill, especially when it cooled down at night. Note: pool has max depth of ~5ft which is great for safety but don't expect to get any morning laps in.

Tyler is a great host. His house is clean, simple, and very positive. We found peace of mind and full relaxation. My kids especially loved the pool. Its size and shape are perfect. We will definitely return.
