Newly refurbished 1BR flat ideally located just a few steps away from the authentic neighborhood of Graça, next to one of the best viewpoints in Lisbon. The flat boasts a large bedroom, a bright living room with separate dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. This gorgeous flat is located in a quiet street, but just some steps away from the main touristic attractions. It has a supermarket and stores 2 min away and underground parking space can be booked upon availability..
Conveniently located between Graça (where you have the best viewpoints over Lisbon) and the main Av. Almirante Reis (metro, restaurants and shops), this newly refurbished flat allows for the opportunity to experience and explore life in one of the most distinctive and singular “bairros” of the city.
I refurbished and decorated the flat using original vintage furniture combined with some design items in order to create an unique atmosphere, full of character and comfortable for my guests to experience.
The master bedroom features a custom built queen size bed where I used a
vintage headboard, original bedside tables, a stylishly built-in- wardrobe and
golden stripes that I painted in the wall inspired by op-art that was trending in the 60s.
The living room is very bright and comfortable with an open view from the window over the district, and a 4 person dining area. The flat also has a fully
equipped kitchen and a bathroom full of natural light with a large shower cabin making this flat the perfect destination for couples, families, or groups of friends.
As cooking is one of my great passions, I always pay great attention to the
kitchen details and appliances. So I’ve equipped the kitchen with a SMEG stove and cooker where you’ll be able to cook great delicious meals.
The sofa in the living room turns into another double bed which allows the flat to accommodate up to 4 people without jeopardizing the comfort.
There is a large supermarket (LIDL) 2 minutes away, as well as a daily farmer’s market ideal for fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. You can also use the public swimming pool (located right next to the supermarket). The entrance fee is 3€ and it’s a great spot to get wet after a day of walking up and down around the city.
Opposite to the flat there is a secluded public staircase that will take you to the top of the hill where you’ll find a small chapel and one of the best viewpoints in Lisbon (a hidden gem). Take a bottle of wine, two glasses and enjoy the sunset in the best possible scenery that the city has to offer.
Guests have full access to the entire flat.
As I am frequently away from the country, I asked Bernardo and Francisco, both also Airbnb hosts, to assist you during your stay in Lisbon. They are available 24/7 for any enquiries relating your stay through e-mail, mobile or text and they know Lisbon like no other!
Parking space in a nearby garage (1 min away) can be reserved upon availability (book early) at a 15€ daily fee. It’s an underground parking. Please note the access is through a narrow ramp that can be challenging for large cars. However, some neighbours and previous guests have parked station wagons inside.
