My flat is 8 minutes on the bus to the city centre. This is a double bedroom with en-suite very bright and extremely spacious. My place is also 3mins to botanic gardens, and has shops banks etc on doorstep.
Elliot was a kind and welcoming host! We loved talking with him, and he made sure we were happy and well situated. The room was light and bright, with lots of space. The bedroom and kitchen have a beautiful view into the courtyard with lots of trees and flowers. The place is an easy walk to shops and cafes, and right on a main bus line for quick access anywhere in the city. We would definitely return!
We were looking for some last minute accommodation so we (myself and two kids) could spend a weekend exploring the Edinburgh Fringe, and I couldn't believe when I stumbled across Elliot's room. The photos and description sounded good and it was such great value at short notice, especially being just 10 minutes from the city centre. We were warmly received by Elliot and his mum at the flat, and they instantly made us feel at home, even telling my 7 and 10 year old boys they could make 'as much noise as they liked' (famous last words hehe). Breakfast was included, we had free and easy access to the kitchen, and we felt very relaxed throughout our stay. The room was lovely, spacious, bright and comfortable (better than the photos even), looking out into a large communal garden area (we didn't visit this), and with an en suite toilet and shower room. It had a comfy double bed and a single bed, a sofa and even a walk-in closet! The bus stop was just two minutes from the flat and the ride to Prince St/Festival Fringe central was as easy and quick as described. We stayed two nights, had a wonderful time at the festival and on our final day we got to experience the splendours of the Royal Botanic Garden, only a short stroll away from the flat. Thanks again to our fantastic hosts for helping make our stay so enjoyable, highly recommend and we'd happily book again!
