You can harder choose better location in Prague than this one. It is located in the middle of picturesque central quarter called Mala Strana where all the major tourists sights are:
* Infant Jesus 100 m
* Charles Bridge 700 m
* Prague Castle 900 m
* Kampa park 500 m
* Lennon wall 400 m
The apartment itself is 50m2 (540 sq. ft.) fully sufficient to accomodate 4 people even for longer period of time since it has fully equiped kitchen. It is in an old house where only locals live.
The apartment is located in the ground floor of the old but renovated house with beautiful interiors. The apartment windows (two big windows in the dining room and one big in the bedroom) are located into the very calm courtyard accessible only by the tenants of the house (almost nobody uses it ). This is the reason why the apartment, although it is located on a pulsing Prague street, so pleasantly calm.
When you enter the apartment there is an entrance hall from which you can enter either into the bathroom (toilet, washbasin, shower enclosure, washing machine and hairdryer) or into homey dining area with nice kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (stove, oven, fridge, freezer, dishes, cookware...) so you can cook yourself meals all your stay if you want.
Above the kitchen is an additional floor with a mattress for additional two guests (if you arrive in a group of 3 or 4 people). Since the ceilings in the apartment are 3,7 metres high the floor is 2,1 metres above the kitchen and there is still sufficient space for normal person to stand up on the floor itself.
From the dining room you can enter the bedroom with a queen size bed, big wardrobe with coat hangers and kind of an antique table.
My guests have also access to the lovely courtyard which is nice to relax on in the middle of the lushing green.
* Fast and stable WiFi internet
* Clean sheets, blankets, and pillows
* Clean towel, one per guest
* One set of keys (Please don't loose them! If they are lost I would ask you 40 euros to have them copied).
* Free map of Prague with bunch of tips made by locals for independent travelers
* Tips where locals go for the best beer etc. :-).
* Shampoo and bath gel
* Fridge, stove, oven, complete kitchen equipment
* Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil
* Hairdryer, washing machine...
I prefer to personally meet the newcomers, offer them a beer and tell them about interesting sites in the flat surroundings.
But as I don't live in the apartment nor in the center and work out of Prague it is often hard to manage that.
Anyway I made detailed description of the surroundings with few tips and addresses and two guides for independent travellers which allow you to see all the Prague highlight but will not let you get drown in the tourist crowd.
And I'll do my best to meet you in person - if you'd like to :-).
The house is primarily inhabited by locals - families, elder people and others who live in the house for many years and inherit their apartments for decades in their families.
This fact is very advantageous becouse it gives the house the authenticity and originality.
