This bright and modern garden level apartment can accommodate six people. It's in a great location in Kitsilano--you'll be a short walk from great restaurants, bars and unique shops. The quiet residential street has lots of parking for your car. If you're using transit, it's only three blocks to major bus routes with express buses to downtown and UBC. With two bedrooms it suits a wide range of travelers, including families with kids and business travelers.
Our 750 sq ft. apartment has a private brick entrance patio and keyless entry.
Inside you'll find two charming bedrooms, one with a new queen bed and the other a double. Both bedrooms have hanging and shelf space, bedside tables, reading lights, full-length mirrors, and large windows that open. The double room is a bit brighter and has a black-out blind.
In the living room the sectional couch converts into a queen size bed. Enjoy the TV with a full cable package and Netflix.
The kitchen has a microwave oven, toaster, kettle, conventional oven and coffee maker. Note: there isn't a full cooktop but there is a one-burner induction cooktop. There is a small fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer.
The large bathroom has a shower (no bathtub), clothes drying rack, full-length mirror and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap and shower gel.
The apartment has dedicated WiFi access and a charging station for your devices. There's a laptop desk and office chair.
A spacious area is available for hanging coats and storing your luggage or other gear. Our upright freezer is in this area, but we don't access it when we have guests.
You'll have a totally separate apartment with its own keyless entry, alarm system and thermostat control. You enter from a path along the side of the house and then down 3 steps to the patio.
The two of us live in the upper two floors of the house but spend most of our time on the top floor. Although a little noise from above is inevitable, it's mainly at meal times and we try to be extra quiet in the morning so as not to disturb our guests. We are available any time and would love to meet you and answer any questions, but if you want your privacy we won’t intrude.
The house next door is under construction. It's the opposite side to the entrance patio.
Because there are interior stairs from the apartment to the main floor of the house (locked door at the top), the apartment is not suitable for mobile babies or toddlers who can't manage stairs.
