A double bedroom in our home on a quiet lane in Drigg. We have listings for Room 1, a twin, and Room 2, a double. We are near to Drigg Beach, Drigg Railway Station on the Monday to Saturday coastal line (5 - 10 minutes walk), Ravenglass for La'al Ratty Train, and a short drive to Wasdale and Scafell Pike, and Eskdale. There are local food shops and a mix of pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes. Although we don't provide meals you are welcome to bring food and cook in the kitchen.
Coastal West Cumbria offers space to walk, stand still, look, see and breath, a breath of fresh air. Cumbrian space, light, contrast; a place to recharge your batteries, unwind, walk, pass the time of day....and our home is pretty much like that too.
In addition to your bedroom there is an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room. Common rooms for guests and us are the living room with woodburner, the dining room, the dining kitchen, and two bathrooms. The kitchen facilities include dual fuel cooking, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, a built under fridge, and a dishwasher. The upstairs bathroom incudes a bath and separate power shower cubicle and downstairs a shower room. There are freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer available in the utility rooms. There is drying space with a creel for hanging waterproof gear to dry.
Richard and Sally will be here to welcome you when you arrive and help during your stay. Feel free to sit and chat or to be self contained.
We have tea and coffee etc in the kitchen and if you wish to eat here please bring food and feel welcome to use our kitchen.
