My home is close to the Canal which offers a lovely walk into town. You’ll like my place because of its calm, peaceful, spacious & homely feel. It has great views & is on the top floor - no lift. I offer a self-serve breakfast of cereals/fruit/yoghurt/toast/juice/coffee/tea. There are good bus links to the centre (15 mins) and airport (45 mins). Bruntsfield, a 15 min walk away, offers numerous cafes/restaurants and shops. The bathroom is shared. I am happy to welcome couples and single women.
Guests have access to the sitting room which is a wonderful spot on a sunny day for breakfast and is comfortable at night if you are at home. Access to the kitchen is available to guests during the day & early evening to make hot drinks and cold snacks. It is NOT possible to cook meals. A kettle plus tea/coffee/biscuits are provided in the guest room. The bathroom is shared with myself and is situated next to the guest bedroom.
I will do whatever I can to help you with your visit to Edinburgh. Check-in is usually between 2 & 9 pm. However, if I can accommodate you to arrive before or after this I will. Please ask about this when you request to book.
Edinburgh has very changeable weather (sometimes 4 seasons in one day!) Please bring enough cosy warm clothing with you, especially during the winter months.
My lovely home awaits you for a wonderful holiday/business trip/historical visit to Edinburgh. My interests include yoga, spirituality, movies, walking and community living. I have lived in a variety of faith communities in Scotland (i.e. Findhorn) and throughout the world including India, Canada and Italy.
