Our rustic cabin built in early 1900's is one of the last original hunting /fishing cabins left in Big Bear lake. It has been lovingly restored and sits in the middle of a wooded 1/2 acre lot. Lots of privacy, wood burning stove and jaccuzzi.
This rustic cabin is one of the few remaining fishing cabins left in Big Bear, it is rumored as being a stage coach stop for travelers in its early beginnings and later was home for many actors filming up at near by cedar lake. This cozy cabin is nestled on a private, fenced, 1/2 acre lot... perfect for a romantic get away or a true mountain experience with the kids.
There is a large back deck with a picnic table and BBQ on back side of the house with a Jacuzzi nestled in the trees on the front side of the house near the barn. Access is available on two separate streets by large cattle gates.
We are available if there are any questions, there is a book full of recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails and amenities such as movie theaters etc. and near by opportunities to enjoy that Big Bear has to offer. On the flip side if rest and relaxation is what you are after, Reckless Ranch offers serenity and peace in a rustic setting with very few neighbors. If you need to reach us you may text us and we will return your call.
