Owners are Howard (from the US) & Angela (from Honduras). We have been providing quality lodging options in Copan Ruinas since 1995. In addition to our B &B, we also own & manage two Vacation Rentals, a Hostel and a Boutique Hotel in the village. We and our manager, Fatima are always on site or nearby to provide an individual orientation upon arrival, recommend activites, help with reservations of tours & point you to the best restaurants and any other information guests require. We are knowledgeable about the area & Central American tourism and are fully bilingual.
In addition to the world famous Maya site of Copan, we also have a world class Maya Sculpture Museum located at the main Archeological site, the lovely, forested Sepulturas Archeological Site where the Maya elite of Copan once lived, the newly opened Rastrojon Archeological Site as well as the Macaw Mtn Bird Reserve - renowned for it's innovative Copan Valley Macaw Release Project, as well as one of the best hot springs in Central America.
I am a former Middle School/High School Teacher who gave up the charmed life of an educator for a hotelier & tourism entrepreneur in Copan. I also dabbled for a time in travel writing; authoring a guidebook on Honduras & a weekly English language column on the Honduran travel sector. We own & manage a number of highly regarded properties in Copan, focusing on providing quality tourist lodging options. My partner in all these endevours is my lovely Honduran wife Angela. We are fully bilingual and eager to help make your visit a great one. We love to travel and have rambled with our backpacks throughout Mexico, Central & South America & most recently South East Asia.
