My place is close to great views, restaurants and dining, the beach, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the people, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. Room 5 is on the 3rd floor and has a private balcony.
This is a lake view room with a private balcony. There isn't air conditioning in this room but I do have fans and a breeze comes off the lake at night.
I like to welcome guests and allow them to stay here as if it is their private vacation home. I try to stay out of your way, while at the same time, I want to be available to answer any questions or help you in any way you need. The lower levels are available for you to have breakfast or family game night. There is also a sitting area on the 2nd and 4th levels that you are welcome to. There are balconies on the 2nd and 4th levels that you can access. Please close the doors behind you so squirrels, bats, bugs and whatever else don't come in!!!
We have 96 acres and 4000 feet of shoreline so please feel free to explore!! We want people to experience and appreciate this property as much as we do!
We have canoes, kayaks and a pedal boat that you are free to use. Just please put them away securely.
I am always available for you, although I'm not always on the property! Don't hesitate to call or text. I do prefer text just in case I'm in a meeting or in class! It's easier to respond to a text than a phone call. Email is an option as well. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), (EMAIL HIDDEN) (EMAIL HIDDEN)
There will be people working on the property while you are here. It could be the restaurant (which is currently open Friday and Saturday nights), music or grounds keeping. We try to be flexible and appreciate when others are flexible as well.
The prices include the 10.375% local and state tax we are required to collect.
- Parties are scheduled separately. They must be previously arranged.
I am married with 2 kids. My kids are 10 years apart. The age difference is harder than I had anticipated but we're working it out. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of MN, Minneapolis and recently became a Registered Nurse (RN). My ultimate goal is to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I had always planned to go into the medical field, but as you know, life gets in the way.
When I travel, I usually like to go to warm places because it's always so cold here and I never feel warm. I also like to get away and just do my own thing so I tend to stick to myself.
I love to read and will read just about anything. Reading helps me relax. I must be by the lake or on the boat as often as possible to unwind. I'm fairly driven in my daily life and I need to make a conscious effort to engage in relaxing activities such as reading so I can actually sleep at night.
I played the piano and flute growing up and have recently starting getting into it more. I recently just played the keyboard for our community's Patriotic choir performance. I loved it!
As far as hosting, I like getting to know people but I'm always concerned about crowding people and getting into their space. I know that I like privacy when I travel so I always try to be conscious of respecting other people's privacy. Sometimes it might seem like I'm not being attentive but one of the best qualities of Creek Ridge is the privacy.
I am a Rotarian and serve on that board, as well.
