Barmeath Castle dates back to 1410. The gardens have been restored over the last forty years. They include a walled garden, lake and wood land. Accommodation is in the wing of the castle, where there is privacy, space, comfort and bird song.
Barmeath Castle can be a retreat and a base to explore Dublin (1 hour) or the coast (5 mins).
Full wing of the castle, private patio and garden, grass tennis court, garden (10 acres) and woodland walks.
The family live in the main house and are able to assist with any queries. A castle tour can be arranged and afternoon tea with Lord and Lady Bellew (extra charge).
No smoking or pets in the house. House suitable for family gatherings but not group parties.
