Our home is situated in the foothills of the Alps. We have a one acre block on Simmonds creek, and although it feels remote, it is walking distance to local restaurants and dining. You’ll love our home because of its quiet location and its rammed earth beauty. You can fall asleep listening to frogs and wake up to beautiful bird calls.
- The guest room is spacious so a mattress can be added for a child. Our property is not fenced but we do have a dog kennel and an area to keep your dog close by (no pets in the house please). You are welcome to use the kitchen to cook a meal and we can provide an occasional meal on request (Conrad is a chef). There is currently no TV in the guest room although guests are welcome to share our living space and TV. Smoking is fine outside of the house.
We are a family of four - Michelle, Conrad, Jarrah (16 years) and Ash (13 years) who love exploring the outdoors on foot, bikes and skis. We live on an beautiful acre property beside Simmonds Creek in a lovely rammed earth home. We grow berries in the summer and have a great vege garden, orchard and we keep chooks. We try to minimise our impact on the natural environment by generating our own electricity, heating our water through solar and wood fire sources and by reusing what we can where possible. The Forrer boys are also very musical and welcome you to join them in a jam session.
