My place is close to the beach, public transport, nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, big groups, and furry friends (pets). Main building has 4 rooms, 3 baths, sleeps total of 10. New building has 3 rooms with king size beds, each self contained with private bath, sleeps 6 total.
This is the family home of Ahmed Kassim and his nephews who sleep in a separate building but use the kitchen and living room. We have a huge library in our living room and you can swap books with us. You can see the sun set in the Indian Ocean from our upper veranda.
You are welcome to use the library and the sitting room. TV and dvd player.
One owner is on site (Ahmed) and other is handling correspondence and living in the US at present (Juli).
Bring a flashlight for walking the very rocky road back from beachfront restaurants at night.
Nephews will do your laundry for a small fee.
Ahmed can arrange snorkeling, fishing and other expeditions. We have a wifi hotspot and are happy to give you the password.
I am a retired professor and half owner of Magharibi House. I have run it as a bed and breakfast since 2006 but only recently listed it on airbnb.
The other co-owner is the onsite manager, Ahmed. He speaks English very well and is adept at caring for guests. His spelling is not up to par, however, so I handle all of the email communications.
