Nothing is very far in Majorca, and the location of this apartment meant that we could be in a peaceful part of the island yet only a short drive to many places. If you like exercise most evening we would walk the 4km in to Esporles for dinner and then walk back up the hill in the dark. The pool may not be private, but sharing it with the second apartment was never an issue. There are no cooking facilities, but there's a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and utensils, so breakfasts and lunches aren't a problem. There is a place in Esporles where you can buy home cooked meals, but it was closed during the week of our visit.
Peaceful, simple and perfect. Rocio is a considerate, friendly host and the separate accommodation is very private, with some lovely touches around the garden and shared pool. The mountain setting is great for walks, with some excellent food just lower down in Esplores. You'll need a car, but it's worth it. Highly recommended
The house is a short drive from Esporles and had everything we needed to enjoy our week in the mountains. It was such a pleasure to come back to the house and enjoy the pool on hot days. The beach at Port des Canonge is quiet and has some shade, and there are a couple of bars down there. We were lucky to be there to hear the Toni Miranda Quartet in the BanyalbuJazz Festival as we watched the sun set. The local Malvasia wine, growing on the terraces of Banyalbufar, is worth searching out.
An utterly perfect 5 days in the most idyllic of settings in the stunning mountains of west Mallorca. Rocio was the perfect host, friendly but discrete - making it clear that she would help you with anything you needed, but giving you privacy. The room, garden, pool, setting and location are just perfect. There is a real calm and unplugged atmosphere here where you can look and listen to the sounds of nature and find joy in the good things of life. The restaurants in Esporles are relaxed and a great place for breakfast lunch or supper. When we visited there was a great food market on a Saturday and a live band on the Sunday evening. The west coast and the mountain scenery are just breathtaking - there is so much to visit and enjoy. You need a car anyway - so there is even more reason to explore. Highly recommended to all.
This is a fantastic find. The Villa is as described, the pool is great given the heat and the green tiles make such a difference from the traditional blue. The outside spaces are delightful and the artefacts give a feeling of south east Asia. Well located for getting around, you do need a car. The fridge is stocked with essentials. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you want to kick back and relax
