Welcome to Moscow and be my guest! Here are common and traditional rules you're definitely aware of:
- respect the neighborhood, the apartment, me and yourself.
- do not forget to switch off the light when leaving the house,
- throw the garbage out
- avoid cooking smelly food
- lock the door and close windows when you go out
- put your shoes off at the entrance in the apartment
- inform me if anyting is broken
- please do not smoke indoors
Thank you in advance!

What a great spot! Location couldn't be better. Even though you're in the middle of the hustle & bustle of Tverskaya street, and a short walk to Red Square, the bedroom overlooks a quiet back driveway. I slept in almost everyday--- comfy bed too. I walked around for miles when I finally did get up, and my nightly soak in the big bath-tub was the perfect antidote for my aching body. Larissa is classy & artistic, and it's reflected in her place. Nice touches in the form of scents, plants, flowers, art, décor. I'll definitely stay here again if Larissa will have me. Thanks Larissa!

RECOMENDABLE 100%

ENG: Hello everybody, my name is Sébastien, i’m 28yo, I’m working int the luxury hotel industry and i love travelling all over the world ! I’m here to share the worst experience i’ve never had since i started to travel. I stayed 35 days in this place and i never felt like this before… I wasn’t a guest but a stranger for her, let me explain myself. I can understand all this good comments from people who stayed few days, but i stayed more than a month and i know the TRUTH and the truth is : - She regularly stole me things like, powder machine, fabric softener, milk. She never asked me. - She used the water that i bought, to put it into her plants. - She hid toilet paper for a reason that i still don’t understand… - She switched off internet on day when i was on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) with my Mom. - She used to tell me that i took showers for too long. (i paid 1500€ for the stay…) - She used to hid the controller of the air-conditioning when she wasn’t there. - And more… You’re maybe asking yourself « why he never said anything !? » Because i don’t wanted to be in a conflict with my host. After a week I noticed that she was weird and i didn’t know what to do and what could happen. I was like an hostage due to the fact that for the « long stay » you have no escape. When you booked, it’s book, that’s it ! No money back nothing, so i stayed quiet, polite, clean and nice as usual. So i took on me and i survived :) One more thing, the situation of the flat is REALLY good, but your room don’t looks like the pictures…
I would like to say some words here as well. Firstly I feel deeply insulted. Sébastien saying that I am a thief and I have to reply. I have never stolen anything in my life and I surely did not steel anything from him. Although after his stay I cannot find some cutlery. Sébastien was often saying that he is very polite (what was quite a strange thing to here) and at the same time he had been talking loudly and making noises at night when he knew that I was a sleep. I admit that ones I had to turn off the router at 2am due to fact that he had a very loud voice conversation over internet and asking lower down the volume did not help. But turing off the router did not help either, he plugged it back and continued. The thought that someone is hiding a toilet paper is ridicules in its nature, I was out of the flat for several days during his stay and the toilet paper just ended. So I bought a new one when I came back. I guess it is also "very polite" to think that someone can hide a toilet paper. Regarding the shower. I have only one bathroom and I thought it is a common thing to ask another person if it is ok to use it for a longer time. But Sébastien apparently had no clue about it. I was going to the trip for a weekend and I needed to use it, so had to ask. Maybe while working in the luxury hotel industry Sébastien got used to and was expecting a maid and a room service. Or that can do anything he likes and do not think about other people if he paid money I do not know, but the truth here is that there are rules and commonly accepted norms that people have to follow. Communication was definitely an issue and I think Sébastien and I could have a nicer experience if he would say something. He even did not show up on the agreed time for checkout. Instead he have chosen to drop the key from the apartment in the postbox and left me a scratched piano and a "present" - what I want to believe was a decomposed banana in my vintage vase. I would not ever recommend such a "quiet, polite, clean and nice as usual" guest to anyone. I learned my lesson and I will be selecting guests even more thoroughly. P.S the only thing Sébastien is right about is a picture. The room was renovated and redecorated recently and I had no chance to take a picture as it was occupied by guests. I will update the photo as soon as have a chance.

Great place, really close to the Kremlin. Room calm. Nice and helpful host. Thanks for this introduction to Moscow realities…

I had a great stay at Larissa's apartment. She met me promptly in front of the building, which was reassuring as my flight arrived late at night. Her place is spotless clean and the room is very quiet (it faces the back of the building). The room is spacious and the location of cannot be better - neat the Metro and within walking distance of many attractions. Larissa is very nice, helpful about Moscow things to do and a welcoming host. I had a great time in Moscow (my first time) and would definitely stay at her place again!

I enjoyed my stay in this appartment right in the heart of Moscow very much. The quiet and clean room and the kind hospitality is a great contrast with the busy city life right outside. Highly recommended!

Larissa is a lovely host - hospitable, kind, and very knowledgeable about the city. She has a particular expertise in arts and architecture, and has a lot of taste. She could point out things to avoid and things to try to see, and had some great practical advice about supermarkets etc. Important for me, too, was that she spoke excellent English. Her place is, as far as I can say, perfectly located, within walking distance of Red Square and the Kremlin, with a metro stop close by and an incredible supermarket over the road. I think it's just far enough away from the main attractions not to be overly touristy. The room is charming and spacious and the flat is very comfortable and clean.
