East Rhidorroch Cottage is a cute two bedroom bungalow surrounded by nature. It is very remote in the heart of the glen and reached by a swing bridge spanning the Rhidorroch River, the cottage is a perfect escape from modern life and a digital detox. Thanks to the surrounding hills, there is no mobile phone reception. Books, board games and sitting by the fire take the place of television/ internet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
East Rhidorroch Cottage is hidden within the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands the cottage creates a warm and cosy haven in which to escape the trappings of daily life. Its a 2 bedroom bungalow positioned in an incredible remote location. The scenery and wildlife outside your front door is amazing. With regular sighting of golden eagle, red deer and many more animals and birds. The cottage offers a back to basic experience with everything you might need and you can step back in time. We make our own electricity on the farm with hydro and are eco friendly.
Guests will have unlimited access to the estate for walking, cycling- bring your own bikes and wild swimming.
We will meet and greet on guest's arrival. If you would like to spend time on the farm with me I will be more than happy to show you around or just talk over maps of the surrounding area for you to go exploring. However, if you want privacy then this is the perfect place! Although I will be around if you need anything!
