Gabriel hadn't told his parents about our arrival. Actually he wasn't even allowed to rent out the room. Therefore nothing was ready for us, when we arrived. In spite of all this Gabriel's dad was really nice, and he made sure we had a nice stay in the room. Still we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, due to the fact that it actually isn't rentable.
This room on top of a garage is a perfect place to stay if you're looking for something not too expensive in Kristiansand. It was very clean and fresh, and there are many things to do (such as play station games). The host and his family were all very friendly and helpful. An amazing breakfast was offered by the host and his very nice and talkative little sister. The only con is that the toilet is in the main house instead of in the garage building, although the main house is only a few steps away.
I booked this room for a single night, before getting on the ferry the next day. It is very cheap, why I didn't have great expectations. Still I ended up finding alternative housing: If you're okay with used socks on he coffee table, food crumbs in the couch and used sheets, it's fine. If not, maybe look for a more expensive place? /Mie
