My place is walking distance sky train and all that downtown has to offer, seawall, museums, tons of restaurants including trendy Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie and The Keefer Bar. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the views, the location, the high ceilings, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples and business travellers.
Modern, new, spacious one bedroom. Comfortable open plan gourmet kitchen with gas cooking range. Lovely balcony with gorgeous city views.
We have purchased all brand new furniture including a new mattress new bed linens and new bathroom towels. Please note we have new pictures on the wall that reflect the cool modern style of our place.
There is a cheap and easy to use mobi bike share right across the street (no space to keep a bike in our unit or the building).
We'll be available by phone or email to answer any questions.
While this hip neighborhood has all the cool restaurants and bars you need, it is centrally located and within easy walking distance of Gastown, Olympic Village, downtown and the scenic Sea Wall. You may wish to avoid walking around Main St and E Hastings. There are free soup kitchens and free social services which encourages a lot of homeless people to congregate. It is safe, it just looks unsavory.
It is a building rule that shoes cannot be worn to stop noise on floors below. So please take your shoes off in the apartment - also for your comfort and for our brand new hardwood floors. :) No Bicycles in the building - there is a fantastic self-serve bike rental (hourly or daily) across the street.
We want our guests and our neighbors to be happy so.....
Absolutely NO smoking allowed in the unit or on the balcony.
NO parties or loud noise permitted.
A traveler at heart and in practice I love coming home to Vancouver. For me it offers a young and vibrant community filled with neighborhoods full of personality set against a dramatic backdrop of nature. I hope our Airbnb guests will experience this excitement in much the same way that I enjoy visiting other Airbnb destinations. Louis Armstrong could not have stated it better, "what a wonderful world!"
