Off-season is the best time to get a great deal on my cozy condo! Relax by the wood stove and enjoy a movie or book (I have an eclectic DVD and reading library) then unwind in the hot tub and sauna (only steps away). Common areas also offer two pools, tennis courts, game rooms, indoor child's rec area, and a lovely river hiking path. Or head down the road to Chair 9 for dinner and a brew, some karaoke, or live music. There's lots to do in Glacier during the autumn months!
Large, comfortable couch, skylight in living room with desk beneath, cozy chairs, extremely comfortable queen-sized bed. (from Ikea!) Wonderful, real wood stove. Sometimes there is wood in the condo-otherwise, you can buy it in town or at the front office. I provide coffee, tea, oatmeal and spices, and I offer board games, cards, and a television (no cable....but I have a great DVD library). Attached small deck with two chairs for enjoying that post-hike beer (or pre-hike cup of coffee/tea). A river runs through the property, and you have access to two pools and hot tubs. The grounds have tennis courts, ping pong tables, a playroom for children, squash courts, barbecue grills-anything you could ever want for a getaway. There's even a community log cabin that has a movie room and game rooms, as well as a large living room//kitchen for gatherings and lounging. Heavenly!
You'll have the run of the condo, and access to all of the public buildings, including an authentic 1887 log cabin, which is stocked with games and movies (there's a television room inside with comfortable couches).
I'll be available via email, phone, and text. The condo office is available for emergencies. Otherwise, you'll have complete privacy.
Wireless internet available in the condo, as well as in the surrounding clubhouse and recreation center. The signal is fast and good. Cell phones do not work in Glacier, but may work through your phone when you're in the condo if your service allows you to make calls via the internet. There is a land line in the condo for local calls and emergencies. Woodstove is completely functional, and you can purchase wood at low cost in the Snowater main office (located next door to your building) or in town at Graham's.
Clubhouse, rec center, community log cabin and pools open until 10 PM. Please finish what you're doing by then. Smoking outdoors only. Cannabis is okay. Please make certain you take your key with you when you leave the unit. The condo association charges $100 to let guests back into units, and unfortunately I would have to pass that charge onto you. Turn the heat off when you leave, please. Thanks!

I am an astrologer, tarot reader and poet who is originally from Chicago, but currently resides in the Pacific Northwest. I am very friendly and open minded, and have traveled extensively, meeting all different sorts of people along the way. I love music, especially live music of all varieties (although I'll always be a rock and roller) yoga, dance, and being near and in the water. I like comfort while traveling, but am not dependent upon sterility and isolation, such as a person gets in a conventional hotel situation. My favorite places to travel, in no particular order, are London, New York City, Breitenbush Hot Springs, Amsterdam, Costa Rica, and San Francisco. I've even had fun in places where I never expected to enjoy myself--I absolutely love travel. I think Indian food is still my favorite, although there are many close seconds.
