An entire one bedroom flat, really quiet and warm. The bus stop for Hyde Park and the Museums is 3 mins away and we even have a night bus all the way from Oxford Street! It's also on the night tube central line (zone 2). We also have a piano!
We are renting our studio flat for 2 and a half weeks: 20th of December to 6th of January. We are ideally looking for someone that needs all that period or a week at least. We think the flat is ideal for a couple, but it works nicely for single occupancy as well. Though we normally live here we've cleared up space in the wardrobe etc. so you can make yourself at home!
The flat is the best studio we have every seen:
Really warm in the winter
Bathroom with bathtub
Separate sleeping area
Really quiet, part of a communal garden
There is 1 gym around the corner that you could use as a pay as you go gym if interested, but Acton Park is just a 4-5 minutes walk away.
Shepherd's Bush is not far either, with the famous Westfield - gym, cinema, shopping and restaurants.
Please feel free to ask us for more details.
You are very welcome to use what we have in the house - cooking ustensils, spices, oil, wi-fi, dvds, books, the piano, but please return them to their initial place.
Please respect our neighbours (families, residential area) and treat the house well. Smoking is allowed only outside. No piano playing before 9.30am or after 8.30pm. Thank you!
On this ocassion all our interaction will be online, but we are very happy to answer any questions and help as much as you need us to.
My name is Alexandra. I don't think I filled one of this 'tell me about yourself' boxes in such a long time, slightly strange! (but yes I understand why this is important)
So a little bit about myself: musician, pianist, living in London. I really like teaching music and music theory so this is mostly what I do - teach, practice, play, have concerts. And in my free time travel! And read books.
I like relaxed holidays in which I have time to have teas and coffees, chat and take my time. I always like seeing the XXth century museum in a place that I go to and if possible some music concert (...I know...).
I quite enjoy people and chatting about stuff, from world problems to cooking, gardening, pets (big pet lover), honestly, anything. But I can also keep to myself, no problem at all.
What else could I tell you, I read children books when tired, watch films, sleep. I think of myself as a relatively balanced individual. I really enjoy sunny days and holidays but rain has its beauty as well.
In terms of travelling I do not wake up very early and do not stay up too late either, I take it easy. I am more interested in the parks, the museums and the general feel of a place than ticking all the objectives or the nightlife. I like walking when travelling so I always prefer being closer to the city then further away (I spend between 1 and 3 hours per day travelling in London... so you see, I like avoiding it when on holiday).
I also like festivals! Especially film festivals!
Yes... I think that is about it. But feel free to ask.
Thanks for reading and considering!
