What does a classic Maine cottage on a beautiful lake look like? Stay here and discover the answer! You'll enjoy hearing loons on Upper Range Pond (a medium-sized lake), jumping off two private docks into beautiful clear water, a sandy beach, over 300 feet of lake frontage, beautiful sunsets, and use of our kayak, rowboat, and canoe. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families. We are only 40 minutes away from Portland and L.L. Bean and 2.5 hours from Boston!
Between 6/24/17 and 9/2/17, we rent Saturday to Saturday. Check in at 3pm and check out at 10am.
The 9% state lodging tax is already included in the daily rate. Daily: 250 off season. Daily: 272.00 Peak Season.
The property is not winterized but we do have two heat sources in the main living area: a beautiful stone fireplace and a propane furnace.
The furnace pumps hot air through grates. Please stay off the grates when furnace is on because the grates can get hot!
We also have a very nice propane outdoor grill for cookouts.
We live an hour away but are available by phone and email if you have any questions or need assistance.
Hannaford Grocery Store: 130 Shaker Road, in Gray. About 15 minutes away.
The nightly price includes a 9% Maine Lodging Tax.
- House has two sets of bunk beds, one double bed, a roll-away bed (for a child), and a sofa-cushioned futon. Can sleep eight to nine people if willing to share the master and the futon.
- The loft (accessed through a bunk bedroom) is suitable for agile people because one needs to climb a ladder to get up to it and to get down.
- The house faces west. It is a "house of light" and the sunsets are beautiful!
-Swim at your own risk as there is no lifeguard.
-If you go out in one of the boats, please wear a life jacket. We have life jackets available for kids and adults.
Please drive slowly down the road. The camp road is in good shape and driving slow helps keep it that way.
