Fun group & family-friendly home loaded w/ amenities in upscale, neighborly Camelback Colonnade: minutes from airport, Downtown, Uptown, Arcadia, Scottsdale, hiking, bars, restaurants, & shopping. Two teachers supplementing income w/ our first recently born, we want you to enjoy our pad for Cactus League, conventions, etc.
Enjoy your home away from home w/ two kitchens, perfect for multiple families & big groups. See details, read our reviews, & message if you have questions.
~Billy & Amy
W/ two kitchens, three gated patios, & two separate AC/heating systems, the home is effectively two houses in one, perfect for a large group or two families vacationing together.
The east wing includes two bedrooms (each with walk-in closets; one with a king bed and potentially a queen), one full bathroom, and a classy kitchen w/ all new appliances. The living room has cable TV, original Nintendo, a couch, and can include an air mattress, so this part of the house can accommodate up to nine people.
The west wing, perfect for couples but able to accommodate eight (nine with the couch), includes a private suite that blends Mid-Century Modern, "Old Arizona" style with pop culture decor in the ensuite kitchen, a walk-through closet, and a private bath. The common area includes Nintendo, piano, sleeper sofa, up to two high quality air mattresses, "powder room" bathroom, and the occasional Ferris Bueller or Route 66 relic.
Owned by two fun-loving teachers supplementing income w/ our first child recently born, this pad's a great place for your group's fall weekend, winter holiday, spring weekend, spring break, MLB Spring Training experience, and more.
Guests can access the entire house, including all kitchen amenities. Yes, we have an original Nintendo with Mike Tyson's "Punch Out" and the cheat code to fight him (Good luck!). Rather than hide the little things that make this a home, we'd prefer that you respect and enjoy them.
The main exception to access is a locked storage room, which is separate from the main house.
We'll be there to greet you, check you out (there may be exceptions to this), are flexible to special accommodation requests, and are happy to be your local guides via cell phone during your stay.
The place is pet-friendly and we'd be happy to welcome your pets, but request details in advance.
Also, as we use one of the bedrooms as an office, please specify how many people will stay when you visit. If you're not using the third bedroom for sleeping, we'll keep it set up as an office for you to work from (if necessary); otherwise, we'll set it up as a bedroom.
As long as you're beyond the freshman-in-college phase, this pad gives you the privacy to have a good time with common sense. Have fun! If you're booking for NCAA Final Four weekend, you should have a blast, with common sense.
Please respect that this is someone else's home and that on teachers' salaries, we're renting in order keep it. No smoking inside and please respect my neighbors.
We're married teachers that, each working two jobs and running a non-profit, still need extra income to pay for the awesome house you're about to rent :). We value the Golden Rule and want you to enjoy your stay in our home and city for family holidays, Spring Training baseball, and other special occasions. Contact us and welcome to Phoenix!
